Hi Terry, Steve just commented after I read your post to him..he almost was going to deflate the tire to get it up on the wheel..he asked his neighbor and was able to lift it on..he agrees w/you, phasing out of the bias700x15...

Hi, I don't think that tire guy knows what he is talking about; Looks to me like a California Black Bear took a bite out of it. Don't feed the animals.

Tires

As I have stared before,
You dont need tire with more weight carrying capacity, just tires designed to withstand the heat.
The 65 MPH Special Trailer (except for the Cooper Custom trailer plus) has no safety margin when run at 65 mph on hot summer days.
Those of us who have gone back to the original type tire that came on our trailers have stopped having trouble.
