T03s are 3580 and T02s are 3200. But why does one need more than 3200 on 5000# axles? If you're loading 6400 on 5000 axles, you got bigger problems.

Agreed, but I have heard folks commenting on wanting the T03's due to the weight rating. I ran the S20's for years on my old trailer with no issues. And last I checked a couple years ago, the Airstream store sold the T03, T02 and S20 wheels.

I just looked at the photos of the T02 wheel and the valve stem location looks very close to the outer edge of the rim (in comparison to the T03), and it's not clear there would be room for the exterior TPMS on a rigid metal valve stem. Does anyone have the T02 wheels with the TST TPMS on an all metal valve stem?

Yes, not a problem.
That picture looks like they just have a stem laying there. They stand up like normal when installed. Not representative of how they function.

T02 or T03 or S20, the only difference that matters is a styling preference. Decide which looks best on your Airstream.

So anyway, can we talk about center caps?

You guys that have made the upgrade, my 15" Sendel T02s have a 4.25" center bore, same as the 16" T03s, so can I keep my center caps or do I need the spring for new ones...?

I used the center cap from the stock Airstream 14" wheels on the 23D in the replacement 15" SenDel T03-56545T wheels and I used the center cap from the stock 15" wheels on the Classic in the replacement 16" SenDel T03-66655T wheels.

I decided to go with new center caps for two reasons. The first was the existing Alcoa caps had lost a little luster and didn't have the same shine as the new wheels. Secondly I sold the old wheels via Craig's list and felt that it would be an easier sale as the caps were part of the original wheel look. I sold them within 48 hours to an Airstream owner with an older unit.

Anyone here have the T03 wheels with Black Accents? Are you happy with how they look? Have pictures to share? 😃

I just googled this same question last night, if you click on the "images" tab, there are quite a few pictures to look at.

There are Threads here with photos but hard to find.
