An interesting site to compare tire sizes. Doing the math, looks like a 225/75R16 has roughly 5% more volume. The donut is a little bit bigger, but so is the donut hole.

It doesnt take a rocket sientist to figure out ST tires are junk becouse they are made in china nowdays. Do you actually think they will follow rules? Take anything that is patented and they will copy it. You would be shocked if you knew how much goodyear pays for a marathon tire made in china!!!!! They cant refuse the money to be made off the suckers that buy them...

It has been reported on the Forum that Goodyear moved production back to the US a year or two ago.

I gotta get me one of those Entabulators. I think it could be used to quantifically analyze the quadraspheric hydroelastic phylogasmic emissions that disconbobulated the radial steel belts on our OEM Marathons!

Could "CN" mean CaNada? I tried to find definitions of "country of origin" abbreviations on the Tire Rack website, bit couldn't.

I tried to play the video, but the page is different and there's no place to activate it. Maybe you have to be a member something and have another password. I thought Google knew everything about us by now.

If you put your pointer on CN a little sign will popup saying china.

Now I known the abbreviation for China.

I tried to get the youtube thing to work the way Phoenix described, but it still had no way to just click on it. Last week youtube thingies worked fine. But I have several encabulators here and they all work fine so so long as I keep the flux bi-resuscitator oiled.

Not absolutely sure, but I think this video requires Adobe Flash Player. Do you have that program installed on your PC? Also, Adobe sends updates a couple of times a week. You might want to check to make sure you have the latest version.

Note: See Reader and Player downloads at the upper-right side of the page.

I have also had some problems with links in the past day or two. I think Windows Update may have altered the security settings for Internet Explorer. Don't want to hijack this thread for PC problems, so I will respond by Private Message if and when I find anything that may be causing these symptoms.

I don't believe Macs come with flash player. I have had some strange results where I don't get the right page lately. Maybe it will pass.

Hi, I'm no-where as long winded as a few of you are, but my trailer came with five Goodyear Marathons that were made in Canada. I now have one left and it is my spare tire, on a steel wheel, that has never touched the ground. Due to where I was when I needed to replace these Original Marathons, [made in Canada] I now have one Carlisle and three, "Made in China" Goodyear Marathons. Maybe China is being blamed for Canadian tires too. Two of my Canadian Marathons got sidewall bubbles at around 3 1/2 years old. The other two started to separate, on my Alaska trip and they were about 7 years old. In this limited time, in all kinds of weather, and many thousands of miles, I haven't had any problems with my Chinese tires.
