I'm in Calgary and the axle shop mentioned on these forums, Standens, manufactures axles and will put the dexter brakes on as well. Installed a pair of axles is $1500CAD. You can also sell the used ones if there is any value left in them.
Should I be hunting for a specific model or set? They knew what I wanted as soon as I said 73 Airstream. I confirmed torsion and that was that.

Your original brakes were 12 inch. Do not down grade them to 10 inch.
Also, do not increase the axle rating beyond 3500 pounds.
At this point of technology, "self adjusting" electric brakes is the way to go.
They cost a little more, but you no longer would need to be concerned about the adjustment.
Most Canadian owners have the axles shipped to someone in the US, and then pick them up there.
Saves shipping costs and duties.
