Wheel Bearings for a 74 overlander

I have just recently purchased a 1974 Overlander in Florida. We live in NH and are going down after Christmas to pick it up. I would like to replace / repack the bearings prior to the return trip. I am unsure about the exact size of the bearing and seals. All I have for information is a 73 service manual, I don’t know if there were any changes in 74. The 73 manual has outer bearings LM67048, inner 25580, and a seal of 42385. This seems to correspond to the following kit # BK3-300, from the following link:

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Airstream.
May I suggest that you bring a little test light with you so that you can verify that the trailers umbellical cord will be wired correctly to your tow vehicle.

Thanks for the advice, I have actually been down there when I closed the deal. The trailer has an “Airstream” connector with round plugs, so I have a new 7way cable to replace the old one. That and soldering irons, multi meter, etc. etc...

The bearings might only need to be repacked, but the price of these kits seemed reasonable enough to just go ahead and replace the whole lot. This summer we will be putting just shy of 10k miles on it, so it would not be a wasted investment…

I bought the same kit from LCTS and it seems fine. This is a common kit for Dexter and Reliable axles (and I assume Henchens also).
Good luck and take plenty of paper towels.

Greetings; I just joined this forum. Can you please advise me as to where I can purchase wheel bearing & seal kits for our '66 Tradewind? It has double axles; has been sitting for nearly 10 years with only one move last year. Purpose of bearing and seal replacement is to prepare it to tow it to the nearest Airstream service center (a 60 mile trip) for a safety check and some minor repairs of the plumbing.

Have your dealer also check your axles.

They can and do go bad when the trailer has sat for years.
