No (well, little) comment

Lou and Craig,

I think you and I had the same, horrifying thought. I was afraid this thread was going in a whole different direction that was not going to be pretty. Especially when I read:

“Rusty nuts….
to help get them off….”

Man, I’ve got to go take my medication now.

Wow! Did you buy that from everyone's favorite vintage A/S parts supplier?
If so, that was probably the sale price!

Yeah, between the rusty nuts and Pahaska's navel jelly, it really sounds like something your doctor should have a look at.

Question Driving the bus even further. and heading for a cliff...

So, Tim, have you gotten your trailer's nuts off yet? Did you have to use a splitter, or the navel jelly?

I have everything on order. The new shocks are coming and I ordered the Aerokroil from kanolabs.com.

I'm not going to attempt the replacement until after the NorCal Rally on 4/8.

Odd.....

The Aerokroil folks called me up before filling my order and wanted to know what I was doing with their product

I told them I was removing some rusty nuts on a shock mount and he wrote it down and said that was ok.

Said they had a California forumlation that he could send me Which probably means it's not as good as the regular stuff.

So, if I wasn't removing rusty nuts with the kroil, what else would I be doing with it?
