Yep we are stoked!!! for this trip - it seems that all our Trailer adventures is pinical to this one....

1. A Brand new "cloned" 4000lb Torsion axle for the Globe Trotter - with some cool upgrades for our type of travel snow bird travel - and when we sell her the new owner is going to be 1000's of miles ahead on any restore they might have to or want to do. The new axle puts us in a position of TRAVEL instead of dead in the driveway right now. And just because we can not wait till the winter we are headed east for 10 days and taking the parents along (well they are going in their own vehicle) and we are going to hunker down in the MoonBeam for a cool real close! holiday. Life is too short to worry about having enough space and who the hell we are going to all get to the bathroom at 3:00 am in the morning.

2. Cloned original spring suspension and Axles complete for the Overlander - also with some cool/functional upgrades zinc hardware and galvinized dipped axles. With this completed officially starts our 1961 Hybrid Adventure.

We are right now slaving in this swealtering heat 104 out plus humidity. Slinging by hand crushed rock called breaker run. Used to build up a driveway base in uneven and mashy terrain. We are building the pad beside the excella for ease of "transplant operations" - And when it comes time to cover the two - they will be side by side - and we may just have to build a frame and tarp to get us through the winter.

Checking out all the ICE brands of beer -wow - but Molson Canadian Ice is your choice??? Steaks sound very nice and just amazing hospitality!!! I told the girls too that they will be meeting a couple of two legged giggly puppies to play with. Lot of wags came from that conversation.

Henry if you are reading this - you better prepare SSL's companion if still there for the departure - you may have to mop up your floor with all the tears. We are really excited!!! we just checked the numbers and how much you have saved us - and if you are in to Canadian beer too you might put your order in - for it is but only a small jesture of sincere appreciation for the above and beyond customer service you are providing us and our 'trailers'.

As we say here "5 more Sleeps"...... till we pick up the new shoes & legs.

Peter & Sharon,

Thanks for all of the kind words. The companion to your SSL left a few days ago. Rumor has it that more Airstream visitors are on the way to me.

Maybe I’ll follow you to Lou’s Friday (that’s this Friday the 15th) afternoon, steaks do sound kind of good. As far as beer – Lou may be the “expert” here. I remember reading somewhere that “every picture of you know who has an empty beer bottle in it” . Thus, Molson Canadian Ice must be the way to go.

On a serious note, your kudos’ are an excellent expression of your sincere appreciation!

Best Regards,

Henry

Well, We've put about 800 miles on the new axle already and its working out fine. The trip to montery went excellent... we had a great time... I haven't pulled the wheels off to have a look yet we've been over 100 deg. most of the month so I avoid unnecessary labor whenever I can... Hope you all are getting some camping in... we are ... C-YA
DAN, LAURA AND NICK..
