New sway...alignment?

We are experiencing sway for the first time after 15,000 miles on our 2012 International 30.
Presently on a trip through Nebraska, South and N. Dakota, Montana, Idaho, OR and WA.
We did scuff the curb side (slightly?) just before noticing the swaying. So bad I won't let my wife drive!
Have adjusted our Reese sway control hitch and will be installing a Hensley Arrow next week.
Can alignment cause the swaying?
If so, any recommendations on having alignment checked in states mentioned?Only place I've used on previous AS is in Tacoma, which was excellent.
Maybe an idea how I can check alignment myself?
As always, thanks in advance for suggestions.

How about tire pressures? Does the suspension look okay? The Hensley will help and anything wrong should become apparent as you mount it. Is everything tight on the hitch now? Good luck, be careful.

Checking tire pressures is a good suggestion.

A quick and easy check of TOE IN can be done with a long enough string. Tape the string to the front tire and pull back to the rear. For zero toe on the rear axle the string will touch the front and rear tire bulge of the rear tire at the same time when the string is pulled back. If not there is some toe in or toe out. Reverse the process for the front tire.

Two things It is a bit crude and inaccuracies are possible.
One would need to know the spec. I would assume since there are no driving axles the spec sight be zero.

Tire pressure fine...good starting point. Use TPM system. One more bolt on hitch to tighten. We leave tomorrow. It seemed a little better after I adjusted the hitch, but still felt new sway.

Update!
Discovered a lot of play in my hitch receiver so will try to find a welder to change out the insert Reese uses or just weld in some spacers.

Stay tuned!
