Axles were ordered from Standens, out of Calgary 3500lbs 22.5 degrees. I had a locale welding shop install them, they fit nice and snug into the grove in the frame. They cut off the old shock mounts and reused them. Two guy worked for 2 1/2 hours to complete the job. They charged $200.00 for the install and gave me $100.00 for the old axles.
Axles $399.00 plus tax $920.00
Alxes shipping $175.00
4 new ac delco shocks $200.00
labour $100.00
The trailer sites nice and high now, and it tows great....
You didn't mention the brand of axle. Dexter? Dura-Torque? Others in that area might be interested. Just a thought.
