How long

I've got to swap out the axles on my Argosy 28, but the new axles have been delayed. How long is too long to have my Airstream up on jack stands?

Thanks!

The trailer isn't bouncing around and if they are supporting relatively close to the wheels, ie just forward/aft of the axle mounting plates, it'll be fine for long time. Make sure you don't shake it off the stands.
Is it outside? Lots of sail area for wind to possibly push it over. Been in mine with some winds shaking the c?&p out of it. Jack stands won't be as stable as wheels. May want to put some nice wide blocks under there.

Welcome Bison. Congrats on first post.

Wow…first post is about replacing axles. Impressive. Mine was probably, " Is Aregusy an Airstream?"

Anyway, the folks here love photos, especially documenting stressful procedures. So share and teach if you are able.
