Henschen axles marketed by Inland RV?
If you have purchased axles from Inland RV I would be interested in hearing about the success of your transaction. Were all goods as promised? Any advice for consumers purchasing Henschen axle's from Inland Rv? Tks, Z.

I would buy axles from Andy again.
There were a few bumps before the dust settled, but I am happy.
You can read the complete tale here.

Axles from Inland RV
I gave them my serial number.
They gave me a price and delivery.
I gave them a check.
They shipped it within 2 days of their estimate.
New axles fit like a glove. It took less than one hour for two axles.
Any other questions?

I echo the last two folks. The axels arrived without delay, and were an exact replacement. I replaced both, by myself, in about 3 hours. I purchased the complete setup axels, brakes, bearings, and all. It is the way to go.

I have replaced axles on an Argosy 20, Caravel, and Sovereign from Inland Andy and Henschen. All the axles fit as advertised.

A little work to replace but not bad
Replaced under mine a few years ago. Here's a link to what we were discussing at that time.

I ordered axels las year and everything went well. The axels were delivered promptly. There was a fuel surcharge from the shipper, all heavy goods were getting fuel charges from the frieght companies. Everything from inland was as quoted.

I purchased Axles from Andy. I have already received the mounting hardware(new nuts and bolts and washers) last week. Although I really couldn't afford Henshens I bought them anyway. I'm getting complete axles.Unfortunately I ordered at the peek of their(Henshen) busy season. My axles are scheduled for delivery on or before the 4th of July. It is my understanding that their trailer orders tripled and the ag orders quad-droopuled this year. They are working 3 shifts to try and meet the demand. Total time is about 6 weeks from the day I sent Andy the check. Dont worry if U order Henshen Axles they will be more presision then their competor and fit perfectly. U pay a little more for quality made to fit excatly axles. I hear their competitor don't hold the tolerences that Henshen does.
I am more fortuneate than most. there will be no shipping or fuel charges, they will be picked up at the factory by my truck.
Oh one thing I forgot to mention Im 70 yrs young I will change these axles myself. STAY TUNED!

I gave Andy my vin, he corrected me, I looked again, he was right("it must be an I, not a 1"). He gave me a price for two axles with brakes-the same price as on his web site. They shipped when he said they would, they fix perfectly. No problems, I would use him again.

I hit a curb and bent a spindle on a my 2005 Safari, gave inland the sn/pn of the axle and had a exact replacement in no time. The axle was half the price quoted by 2 Airstream dealers. No problems. Also bought a wheel and tire.

You can buy, with confidence, from Andy and his team. They are the best and he knows his axles!!

As the other posts have said, the service and product from Inland was top notch. Everything fit like a glove. The shock mount on the axle was a little farther away from the mount on the AS. Just stretched the shock a bit. But the WORST part is the $72 "residential delivery" charge by UPS. What a rip-off. But again, thats not Inland's fault. Maybe stuff could be shipped by a more customer friendly carrier. Jim K

this is becoming silly, but...
when someone does a good job you shouldn't be afraid to praise them publicly. Same as everyone noted, I gave Andy my VIN and he sent a perfect set of axles.
It should be noted that I didn't feel comfortable installing them myself, even though Andy was very forthcoming with instruction and know how. I did not have someone who really wanted to assist me, I have plenty of other things to do on my trailer but most importantly my trailer has a lot of corrosion so I didn't want to risk stripping something. So...I had my trusted local RV dealer, Three Way Camper do the work (prior Airstream Dealer that got away). Andy arranged to drop ship the axles to them and they took it from there. Easy install I was told.
If you are planning to have some one do the work due diligence is important. Not all Airstream dealer service departments are the same and I just couldn't get comfortable with my local dealer. If Inland wouldn't have done it, I might have hauled the trailer up to Out of Doors Mart or Airstream of Arkansas.
Anyway, as with all purchases I have made from Andy it was smoother than smooth.

Yes, it's really high. We're thinking about holding off on replacement until we can get out to California anyway. (I also want to pick up a new transmission for the MG while out there -- though Dearest Wife doesn't know what this is all going to cost yet!)

I avoided the residential drop fee by shipping to Three Way making the install less than $200.
Also, I also remember I went ahead and replaced the shocks at the same time and Andy threw in new lug nuts for free.
