All torsion axles are too stiff.
And, all torsion axles are inadequate for the payload.
It all depends on the loading.
Each person, must determine, within reason, the total payload that will be imposed on the axle/axles.
In that way, a fair judgement call can be made as to the rating of a replacement axle/axles.
As an example, some owners insist on a full tank of water, others travel with no water aboard.
For that matter, full water should always be carried, as it lowers the center of gravity of the trailer, which helps it track better, and, in the event of a blown radiator hose, all you need is a little duct tape, and of course some of that water, that hopefully, is in the trailer.
