Contacting Colin Hyde

Has anyone been able to get in touch with him recently? I talked with him earlier this summer, but wasn't quite ready to order new axles for my 72 Overlander. Now I'm ready, but I haven't been able to get a hold of him through email or phone at all for the last month. I'd love to order some axles from him, but I'm thinking that maybe he's taking a break or something? Hopefully everything alright and he's just busy. I'm sure things get pretty insane when you're one of the few people in the country with this kind of experience!

We spoke to him recently.

We PMd him, left VM and emailed him knowing he was busy and going on outings. On all those I left our name, phone number and why we were calling. He returned our call during a shop break.

I believe he was headed somewhere but can't remember where. He will likely get back to you soon.

His vm inbox is full so I can't leave a message. Just sent him another email, so hopefully I'll hear something back soon.

I can tell you that the axles I got from him last year for my '74 Overlander were perfect! It is well worth your time to make sure you order from him.

Jay.

I purchased my axles from Colin Hyde and had a good experience.

It sounds like he needs to set up an order desk with an assistant and a spec book.

He called me back after sending the email. Looks like that's the way to go. Very excited to get some new axles on.

He's busy, and like everyone else is saying: he is the man.

I also agree that he needs an assistant, but that's none of my business.

The axles I purchased from him were spot on perfect and makes the ride so much more enjoyable in our 64 ambassador. It's nice that the brakes work too
