Hello Angel73,

there are different seals and bearings for different year airstreams and axle sizes etc. The best and most certain way would be to take one wheel and drum assembly off . you could take the bearings and seal to your local rv store and match up the parts .Sometimes the stamped numbers on the bearing s are very hard to read ,but that way you wont end up with the wrong parts .

Angel73,

True that, I hear you.Ok pull one apart ,get the # off the bearing cone and or the race, also the seal.i am sure someone here can get the parts you need or the place that is far away can order them .Call Inland RV ask for Andy ,give him your coach info ,He should be able to figure out what you need ,you can purchase as you like one wheel at a time or?The brakes are not a problem as you should have 12" drum brakes and they should be electric ,Purchase the complete assy ,best deal for your money, match it to your existing setup ,the backing plate loaded as its called .You can private message Inland RV here on the forums.Same with the shocks ,always replace the shocks! very important .

hope this helps

Scott

We found bearings and seals at our local farm supply place - a lot of utility trailers and horse trailers use the same parts.

Your outer bearing is # LM 67048

The inner bearing is # 25580

It's not likely that you can get electric brake shoes or magnets from an auto parts store.

The grease seal could be one of two different ones.

The serial number of the trailer would answer that question.

Generally speaking, you can get your Airstream parts, from an Airstream parts stocking dealer, that makes daily shipments.

The original "horizontal shocks" that Airstream has used for almost 40 years, are not available from auto parts stores.

The Airstream shocks are an "OEM" item to them, and can only be purchased through an Airstream dealer.
