Bambi axle
Has anyone on this list had their '61-'63 Bambi axle replaced recently? I'd be interested in hearing how it went.

I have a 61 Bambi also and am thinking of replacing the axle. Does yours have a torsion type axle? Mine is a torsion that looks as though it has been welded to the frame. Just wondering if this is original or not. If I find more info, I'll pass it on.

Mine is a torsion axle also and it is welded on. I believe this was standard. My trailer tracks fine, it just sits a little low. Inland RV in California is the distributer for the original replacement although there are other manufacturers.
