axles on 2004 classic

1 have grease on inside of rims I think i need new seals but I'm not sure what kind of axle I'm buying them for

If you have grease inside the wheels, you will probably also need brakes, as they will probably also have grease on them.
Unless you have a really lightweight Classic, it should have 12x2 brakes. That is also the info you need for seals.

I use brake cleaner spray, CRC Brakleen or similar, to get the grease off of the metal parts. Like Terry said in post#2, if the pads are saturated with grease you may have to replace them.

I would not buy a dog poop bag on sale from OutDoorMart. Overcharged me well over $250 on a hot water heater....did try to compensate, but too little too late after too much hassle.

If you want new axles with complete assembly, then buy direct from Dexter or Red Neck Trailer Supply.

There is a guy in Harrisburg NC who has a shop and is an Airstream owner who does great work. Probably buy through him. Good luck.

Outdoor mart for me has been fine to buy parts from.. I alway check online to see what prices of stuff are before heading out and ODM was comparable on the double grease wheel seals for the 12x2 axle on my 2005 classic 30 ft.

PS who is the guy in Harrisburg NC that services airstreams??

I've been dealing with Out of Doors Mart for as long as I've been an Airstream owner, over 25 years. I live about half hour away from their store in North Carolina, so I walk into the store/parts counter 3 or 4 times per year. But, when I am living in Florida during winter, I purchase from ODM and have things shipped.

Without exception, they always have done exactly what they said they would do. Without exception, the price paid was exactly the price they quoted. Not one issue in all that time. A few times I have received a refund, when actual cost of shipping was less than the quoted price.

I'm talking about parts sales, a few repairs, and some maintenance. I did not buy a trailer from them.
