I am really grateful for all your answers. I don't want to save money on something as important as the axles, but I also don't want to get fleeced!
It is costly, but I think we will bite the bullet and work with these local guys.
And yes, they have AS experience, I wouldn't trust just some shop with good intentions on this one!

Ask if you can get your axles from Colin hyde and have them shipped to and installed there. That way they'll be getting a direct swap axle. I'm betting that what they get wouldn't be and they'll have to modify the trailer some. Colin has the exact dimensions and mounting plate hole placement, come fully loaded with shock brackets easy to lube bearings brakes. Ready to go! It will make the shops life easier.
