I guess I could always go with a 2800LB rating as well...

We have replaced many axles on the tandem 23 footers, with 3000 pound ratings.

Without adding additional weight as you have, there has been zero reports of "bounce or rough ride."

About to order my axles...2800-3000lbs. My current axles are at 0 degree today. What is recommended for the angle on the new axles? I know the standard is 22.5 but I have heard of many people going to 32.5. Anyone know the pros and cons of the angle?

Thanks in advance!

I'm working on a spec for new axles for my trailer.

I went with 32 down. I understand in the end it adds 1 in of clearance.
