Sharon,

Likely the first 10 . . . thereabouts!

Glad all is going well - I love my retirement but I miss the customers.

Regards,
Henry

I'll take someone calling me a 10 anyday

Okay so I missinterpreted your intentions - there is a lot of that going around these days.

ah you meant the trailer axles being done in the first 10 oh silly me.

Wish I was retired!!! But then again by the time that happens I may just be in a blue room or rubber room

well, the order's in. here's a JPG of what i sent in for the bracket measurements, for anyone with a similar year set-up (1964). the overlander was slightly smaller measurements between the bracket centers (57 13/16" vs 58" on the dot for my tradewind). the hub face spacing was slightly smaller as well (74 13/16" vs 75" on the dot on the trade wind.

i opted for a 4500# single axle for the trade wind, and my friend's overlander gets a pair of 3000#s (that's why the axle tube diameter is smaller on the overlander than the trade wind. they should be here in 2-3 weeks. i'll post more pics when we get around to installing them.

Oh, I did not want to brag!
It seems I may have started a trend!
Peter and Sharon do have one of the coolest Axis axles with the galvanizing! It looked really sweet. I got to help glue a tag to it in my driveway!

shshhhhhssshhssshh - you will give our little secret away. Good thing we had a Border patrollee newbie - first day on the job - no kidding - took a look at the little green card we filled out for the axle refurb - said oh I see - have a nice day (probably did not know what an axle is tee hee.

Lou,

I think the count was 60+ customers when I retired in August 2005 - that was quite a trend you started. By the postings on the forums - the trend continues!

I miss the many customers that I developed relationships with - thus I visit the forums periodically and enjoy staying up to date with their progress.

Thanks again for what you started - I was introduced to quite a group of folks - many thanks to you!

Best Regards,
Henry

Henry, you are the man....

All I did was allow you to work your "axle magic" through me, my friend.
It is on a rare occasion that a business transaction results in a friendship. This is one of those rare occasions.
Henry, you rock!
