Oh man! I always wanted one of those.

Even though:

"The center of the tube appears to be bent up slightly, but this should not effect the function of the part."

. . . it still looks like a great deal!

And it's a 1975 model, I'll bet those are a rare as dentition on a female chicken.

I notice you can't see the angle of the torsion arm in any of the pictures.

That listing has alot of problems.....
It talks about a bend in the middle of the axel that should not be a problem. I hope not since they all are adjusted that way. It also lists shipping to my location (Phoenix) as $8.55 for USPS Priority shipping. Now that is a good deal. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but with no weight (except the frame) those axels do not look like they have much if any lift left.
The bottom line on this one is, how much is a 31 year old axel worth ?

Based on the amount of brake drum showing above the frame I would be willing to bet that they are negative...on my 75 which still has some positive angle on them the brake drum tops are about even with the top of the frame. About all those axles are good for is a boat anchor.

They are worth their scrap metal weight, not more.

OK, the axle may be junque, but look at the 33 Dodge truck the same guy has listed. Do I see a future tow vehicle?

It even has suicide doors to match my '59 Tradewind!
