Axle alignment

We just purchased a 71' sovereign. While towing it home I noticed the driver side of the trailer was trailing the truck more toward the center line than it should have been. Like it's dog legging a little. Is there adjustments for truing the axel alignment.

It sounds like the trailer is "crabbing". It could be a bent spindle which I don't think can be repaired. Way back when, axles could be straightened. It's hard to find anyone who can do it now a days. If you have original axles they probably need to be replaced anyway because they will have lost their shock absorbing ability.

You can check it with a tape measure, and a plumb bob on a level floor, or take it to an alignment shop that aligns big trucks...
