Question Are my axles really worn out????

After going to the show today, I'm wondering if my axles are truly shot.

Looking at the new 28 Safari I'm thinking not.

From what I can tell, your axles look fine.

If they are slanted down (toward the ground) from where they attach, as it looks like yours are, then your axles are fine.

But how much weight is missing?

Tedd,

As I recall, your Airstream is missing some interior components. How about estimating how much weight, and add that back inside in the form of concrete blocks (33 lb/block). Then add blocks in the form of gear/food you might have in a typical trip, and have another look.

Hopefully, your axles will still look okay, but you never know.
