We were suffering damage to the interior of the trailer every time we towed it, so that, along with pivot arms past the horizontal convinced us that new axles were needed. After having near cardiac arrest at the dealer's quote, we ordered the axles from Inland RV as complete assemblies. A "C" shaped dolly was constructed that supported the axles under the pivot arms, leaving the axle tube clear for jacking. It took longer to hook up the brakes than it did to install the axle. The dolly eliminated the grunt work of handling the awkward axle assemblies in and out from under the trailer.
