Just bought this gutted Airstream. Changed the tires to new tires and rims. I was looking at the axles and they look pretty bad. Probably original. Do I just bite the bullet and replace them?

Yes. You could use them as is but will be beating up your trailer which will cause more problems down the road

Depends on what you mean by "...they look pretty bad."

If they're the original axles, they probably are bad. The most recommended way to tell is to see if they drop when the trailer is jacked up.

The only alternative is to do nothing as there isn't a repair. As long as it isn't being towed for any distance, doing nothing does not create potential damage to the coach.
