66 Overlander question

I am planning a shell off restoration. I would like to expedite this as much as possible meaning that I would like to have new axles on hand and ready to install as soon as possible. So my questions are, Who should I contact? What info do I need to have when I make the call? I would also appreciate any pointers.

Thanks

Axles

Model and Vin number from the plate to the right of your entry door. Vin # will start with a "O" or a "I" . Then there should be an ID plate on the axles as to weight rating and other info that you will need to provide. InlandRv. com has information on their site to help you determine what axles you need to order. Other vendors and resto shops also can get axles for you. Use the search button on the tool bar above with key words like axle replacement to read up on how it's done and who others have ordered axles from. Colin Hyde on these Forums is able to order thru his shop too! Ed
