2008 Safari Sport 22ft

i'm picking up a new 08 23' safari in Dec. Are you all telling me that there will be a problem with the amount of weight I can carry such as cloths, cooking items, etc. I will be spending a month in fla and I will need to take basic items for myself and wife. Does anyone know how much weight I can pack? Rob

well sure.

ALL a/s have an issue with ncc (net carry capacity)

some models the issue is 2500 lbs of gear...

and on others it is a few 100 lbs of gear.

water, lp gas, options all cut into ncc.

for this unit it may be just 9 lbs, which ain't much.

the 'estimated' specs are at the a/s website for your unit.

which will have a placard inside the unit with these details...

until you actually WEIGHT the trailer and estimate how much stuff you NEED to carry...

there really isn't a problem

i like traveling with water AND lp gas, but many folks with the itty bitty units skip the water.
