2004 Bambi-Question on axle condition

Here is a photo of our new 2004 Bambi. The previous owner never towed it after he bought it new in 2004. Since we got it, we have only towed it around 200 miles. How does the axle look? I understand sitting a long time without moving them is hard on an axle.

This is my first try at posting a pic......hope you can see it!

thanks,
prong

Tires

I would not be too concerned about the axle but I would purchase new tires.

That may give you something to go on, scroll down to the drawings showing positive and negative angles. Just looking at your pic I can't see anything out of line.

And a second on the tires. A failure can do way more damage to the trailer than the value of the tire.

Yep, I agree on the tires. I will get them changed before pushing off on our trip to the Rockies. I will have the wheel bearings serviced as well.

I am glad the trailer didn't appear to be sagging. I wasn't sure how much the single axle trailer normally sagged.

thanks,
prong

OOPS1

To quote a famous person, "mistakes were made"...................I was trying to download a photo of the trailer from photobucket and got this! I tried to edit the reply several times and no luck.

Can someone get rid of this for me?

Nice peice. Better take that wiff ya ifn ya has a CCW . Might be BEARS in dem der Hills. I personally perfer Mr COLT or MR GLOCK.
I don't think your axles are are risk at only 6 yrs old. Crawl under and look at the angle of the arms. I think somewhere here the are pictures of arm angles. I'm sure 2 air can find em if anyone can.
