You would be able to carry a bit more weight, and the trailer would handle a bit firmer (less sway). Downside is it would provide a slightly stiffer ride, and may shake things around a bit more than the lighter axles would.

You should bump the axle rating up to 3000 pounds.

You should also change the brakes to 12 inch, instead of the original 10 inch.

The only specs needed for Henschen axles is the trailer serial number.

If you order "brand X" axles and make a mistake, you will own the mistakes.
