Here's the temperature and humidity inside the Airstream for the week. The last couple of days I've had the dehumidifier running the humidity has remained stable at around 40%. I've noticed the temperature also holds steady at 85 degrees, which is what I leave the AC at during the time I'm not there.

I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I have 3 of these units-2 in the garage of our vacation place at the Texas coast and 1 in the AS. I only use the one in the AS when it is at home hooked up to shore power. I rarely see the dehumidifier and the a/c running at the same time.

Dehumidifiers in the price range are junk, so always buy the extended warranty. In 5 years, I have had 2 replaced under warranty.

I left it running all week and turned it off when I got here in the weekend just to see what happened.

I saw.

The leaks are coming from some of the little holes where the air filters are. November, where are you??????
My AC was dripping water onto the floor. It started after I adjusted the vents to point them a little lower. I adjusted them back up and no longer had the problem. My conclusion was that the air was being directed into the unit from the bottom of the vent and was either blowing water out of the drip pan or was blowing onto some surface outside the drip pan which was exposed to the more humid intake air and condensing moisture from the intake. Do you have your vents pointed so that the air is all going out into the trailer?

I don't have vents I can turn up or down. Only open and close. Mine is a 2014 so I don't have the newer vented AC. I have noticed it leaks more if I run the fans on low or medium, or if I close too many vents.

FC, it's been a while since you got your dehumidifier and I was wondering if you still like it in the Airstream.
I realize that asking this at this time is pretty stupid since I have left Titusville because of the storm but it is also this first chance I have had to sit and read. (Hanging out in north Georgia at the moment waiting to see if I have a house to go back to ).
Does it create heat? Did you drain it into the shower?

It works great. Yes, I drain it into the shower. My only complaint is the electric bill. It's like running another AC. But it keeps the humidity under control. It blows warm air but it doesn't overpower the AC.

I like it, but I need an extra source of income to afford running it...
