There are two good possibilities when trying to obtain an owner's manual for a coach as recent as they one that you own. First, if you are on good terms with an Airstream dealer, especially one who was in business when the coach was new, ask about whether he/she might have any manuals available from New Old Stock. You could also try any Airstream dealer who was in business at that time; but it seems that this type of question is most successfully answered if you happen to be a regular customer at that dealership.
The second possiblity would be to use the information below to obtain a photocopy of the original manual. This quote is from the Vintage Airstream Club web site. While your coach isn't vintage, it is my understanding that all out-of-print Airstream manuals are available through this source as photo copies.

Q: I need an owners and service manual for my Airstream. Where can I get one?A: The first owners manuals were published in 1964. Prior to that, the owner received a brown envelope containing parts lists and other helpful information on the accessories in his trailer. The VAC has started making these available in the Members Archive section. A service manual with instructions for performing service operations did not exist until 1972.
You can get photocopies of owners manual (1964+) and service manuals (1972-1986) from:
Helen Davis Secretarial Services
PO Box 484 Sidney, OH 45365
(937)492-8885
Prices are about $33 and $70 respectively. After 1986 the Owners Manuals included available service information.
Good luck with your search!

I was able to find a manual for my trailer by posting an add on the VAC classifieds. Dealer in MI had a pristine original cheaper than a Xerox from Davis.
If anyone needs a copy of a 1977 A/S Owner's Manual or a
copy of 1977 A/S Service Manual, I could make you a copy and send it to you. I have both of these books. I would be more than happy to share these with some one that need info.
I have both the service and owner manuals for my 1971 A/S.
If there is enough demand, I may offer to make xeroxes.
Only hitch: I'd like to get multiple requests to make it worth my time. The service manual has many pages, and I'm not that eagar to spend a lot of time at the Xerox machine.
count me in for one each owners manual and a service manual.
i actually have an owners manual, but it's very tattered, it was copied years ago by the previous owner.
i'll PM my address etc.
I guess now that I have a 71 Tradewind it is time to revive this thread. I too am seeking that service manual. I have the owner's manual to a 72 Airstream which I imagine is similar to the 71.
Need a manual for a 73 Sovereign. Trouble is, we are leaving the country (Canada) in a couple of weeks. Bought the A/S four weeks ago and have been working away trying to get it into travelling condition. Is there a place in the States to pick one up? Thanks
Supertrucker/Any others: I am seeking an owner's manual for a 1977 Excella 500. Please contact me if you do, and graciously would either care to sell, give, copy, or brain wave it to me...beggars can't be choosy. Thank you.
