Hi guys!
Guess I got lucky with my windows. I didn't have to drill out any screws - just got my husband to put some bigger muscle into it and they came out - whew!!!
That stuff under the plates I just scraped off too and I used silicone to put them back on. Hope it works ok.
I got all the weatherstrip(black) on and all the cranks and everything is nice and tight and waterproof now - yeah!
Also thought about those rim things from Inland but just looking at the directions to get the windows out made me hold my horses. I am going to sew some covers for them though so when they are open you don't crack your skull on them - next year project. Maybe we could figure out a "system" for those and others with our type windows might be interested too??!!
Did you guys find parts yet? I spoke with Tim in Seattle and he still has some left. He's been gone alot lately with his AS so hasn't been on the computer much.
ok, gotta run now. Maybe I'll figure out how to attach a picture and ya'll can see my "finished" product!
