Now its my turn to ask for assistance. I found a '60 Overlander in Cedaredge that needs to be remove, unfortunately, it needs to be cut up to be taken from its resting place. The owner bought the property with it where it is and he wants it cut up and gone. I need to get some of the windows, entry door parts and some other items before it goes away. Anyone in western Colorado that can help me out? There may be a few items you could use. There is the original Princess stove/oven, fridge and unoriginal furnace. I have more pictures if your interested.
As you can see from the photos, the trailer won't be coming out in one piece. All of the cabinetry is now in the local landfill so there's not much left inside except the appliances.
I live in Carbondale. If you want to PM me, I might be able to help. I'm a bit swamped with things here, but if you let me know what you need and when you need the parts by, I could see if it works out for me. I hope I can help!
Yes, tail lights and get those vent dome lifters! Also, the handles to the window operators, and the operators themselves. Wish I was nearby, cause I show up with my cordless drill and start helping.
Thanks for the kind offers. I've contacted several folks that say they'll be able to help out. If I had the opportunity I would grab almost everything. Chances like this don't happen often and the price is right.
To all of those that will work on this trailer, I read earlier in the forum about somebody who cut thru an LP line that was disconnected from the tanks. Seems that LP was still in the line and burned up the trailer. Be careful.
