Have you tried Colaw. They are in the vendors forum. I have called them and they said they do get in awnings. The fabric may not be right, but that can be easily replaced for much less that a new awning price.

I spoke to James at Colaws RV salvage last week on a cooktop I was interested in and I also asked about window awnings. He said they have them in many lengths and the cost was around 20-25 dollars per foot. I thought they were complete assemblies, but I did not ask. He said they have quite a few. Are you looking for Zip dee or some other kind? My feeble math calculated a complete one at less than 60 bucks plus freight.

Yes!
After many hours of searching the continent, I have finally picked up an Awning for the Overlander.
Rather than buying individual awnings for each window, I am installing a full length window awning, (16 ft).
Zip Dee of course!
I got such a great deal on it I am going to keep it a secret.
I literally paid more for shipping than I paid for the awning.
It goes to show that patience has paid big time. It took me several months to locate this deal and I had to go to the other side of America to get it, ( internet is a beautiful thing).
Any volunteers to come over and help install it?
It will truly be a great Thanksgiving,
Gobble Gobble!

The sad truth is that Zip Dee awnings are of the highest demand and the highest price. So if you see one laying around it is probably abou to be mounted to somebodies Airstream.
Dont know if you are interested but you can buy Awnings from Home Depot made by Futuregard. They are made with the exact same Sunbrella fabric and you can get the protective alumigard. They cost much less than Zip Dee but they are not Zip Dee.
A purist may be concerned but for the price, hey I seriously considered it. The only reason that I did not go with the Futuregard is because I already had Zip Dee Awning as my main awning. I was actually going to replace all of my window awnings with Futuregard for less than 400 dollars. Zip Dee would have cost me about 850 dollars.
I have to replace the fabric on my Zip Dee that I just bought and I will probably be into the awning for about 450 dollars by the time I am done. Remember the new Zip Dee Awning similar to the one I am restoring cost about 1200 dollars new.
Good luck on your search.

At the local HD there is a display near the garage door section but you have to order from catalog which is near the window section right next to the Window screens and plexiglas and shutters.
Futureguard has a web site but you cannot buy direct from them. They mau have other distributors. I was looking at the 5700 series but there are many to choose from.
