That is too funny...did I remind you to bring it to the top again from our PM's
When I came back to the home page and this was up I did a double take
So that new picture you posted guess what - Same as Rays! Just sent an- e-mail asking him if he wanted me to pick up the whole fridge or just the parts he needs - good thing you don't need the same parts
The suspense is now killing me and I don't think I can wait till the weekend - so I will find his number and call him tonight and ask to go over in the morning.

I knew it was small - but gosh dang-it could you be the unluckiest with your refer MIA search!!!
This one is an M28 with a bottom shelf in perfect condition and 14 78" wide (measurement taken from inside door lip to inside lip (as marked on the photo) - not from inside tab to inside tab).
I thought maybe the 28 and 35 would be the same width just different hieghts like our 40 and 45 or 50 or whatever . Can you double check the measurement so that we are infact taking the measurement from the same place?
.....and the saga continues of the missing bottom refer shelf.....
I have the M40 - with a perfect condition extra bottom shelf! measuring 16" wide and the 28 has a perfect bottom shelf - both the aqua with cross hairs...Can ya not just shuv it in and make it fit
Well I have one more chance to redeme myself and have my local girl checking with her vintage refer source for you. (He came through for our very uncommon size so maybe you will be 3X lucky???) I will offer that little 28 fridge for the effort and go and pick it up if he will make a trade for your shelf and rays shelf and freezer door on an M35.
And who thought this was easy tracking down Vintage parts

Doesn't really surprise me...there were so many similar models during the sixties...oh well, I'll keep looking. Let me know if the other one pans out...I've come across several in the larger size...I even wondered if there was a way to cut them down & glue/weld the plastc back together.
I think the M28 was in a Bambi or Bambi II. I'll "triple-check" my measurements, but I'm certain they are correct...we will probably pick up Max on Friday...expecting more snow, but tough!
The way it works...I think is:
M-28 = 2.8 cu. ft.
M-35 = 3.5 cu. ft.
M-40 = 4.0 cu. ft.
etc.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for looking though! Maybe Brad's will work...or who knows, another one will pop-up...I am a very patient (& persistant!) person...drives people nuts!
You've bin swell!

I'm proud to announce that once again I have found a "you'll never find one of those" part....well, I did! And guess what? I didn't have any cash on me & they didn't want to take a check...so they said to just take it and pay $5 next time I'm in! Yay, good karma does come back around...
Found it at Cherokee RV...a local boneyard in Denver, even though the last time I checked, no luck ~ today....jackpot! I'll post a picture later this week...too dark right now to take one....
The only thing is, my fridge stopped working last weekend while camping (bummer)...gonna "burp it" this saturday & see if it helps. If not, it's off for a re-build of the cooling unit ~
Oh well, if it's not one thing...it's another! I wouldn't know what to do without something to fix or find!

Phoenix ~ Yeah it's hot however it's a dry heat!
It's a slightly different color of aqua, not as obvious as in the picture...but it fits perfectly! Yipeee! Mission accomplished...
Still don't know if the fridge is working again or not...it took longer to get it out than expected, we ended up having to drill out rivets in the belly pan to get to some concealed bolts in addition to removing cabinets in the galley...we worked at it over the weekend and also on the stove which is a whole 'nother story. The fridge is now standing on it's head in my kitchen...hopefully this burping thing works...I'll let you know ~ in the meantime, hope the picture satisfies your curiousity Action

Yes I can tell the difference in color. The bottom shelf is the color of my refer's interior pieces. Yours are more of a gray color.
I am also amazed at how clean it is in the picture and when I saw it in person! My trailer set in Indiana for years unused and with a leak in the bathroom area. There are some stains that just will not come out.
I am very interested in the results of your refer repair. YOu are trying to shake up the amonia.

Does your fridge work? Or is it in need of a good burping too? We flipped it back over this morning & will flip it twice more before trying to light it again...12 hours upside down, 12 right side up then repeat....then, cross our fingers & test it, probably Weds or Thurs evening.
I'll post how it goes...if all goes well, I get a new awning...if not, I get to get the fridge fixed!
