Unhappy Looking for '64 Plastic Drawers

I am looking for FOUR drawers that fit inside the small bathroom cabinet in our '64 GlobeTrotter. They are plastic and slide on metal rails. Each drawer measures 12-1/8"x10-1/8"x3-3/8" deep (including the lip edge) The inside of each drawer measures approximately 11"x9"x3".

Additional pictures can be seen @

Drawers

Please email me if you are gutting your trailer and have these drawers...I would like to buy them from you.

Thanks!

Shari

Check Ebay regularly. These come up every so often. You might get lucky.

Hmmm...

I am an avid ebayer and have never seen them come up before. I've always searched "Airstream" both title & description...what have you put in the search Bobby?

Been awhile since this thread "floated to the top"...with lots of new members, I'm still hopeful!

Make your own?

Shari, I know Hot rods and AS aren't toooo related, but I just read an article (in Hot Rod Magazine) about using plaster of paris to make a male mold - and using fiberglass to make an object. I would think this shape would be easy to duplicate. You could even color the gelcoat to your heart's content!

A local boat builder (oops, I'm from the Pacific NW - any boats in CO?) could help, or maybe a snowboard shop?

Actually Marc, we're former Californians (don't hold it against me ) and Rob, my husband, grew up glassing surfboards. So we actually have the technology...good idea, but I still want original ones. I've also thought of building wood ones 'til we find the real thing....someday

And yes we do have boats here...we used to race J-24's on Lake Dillon near Breckenridge...and a couple of years ago I spent 7 days sailing with the Adventuress on the Puget Sound...COOL!
