Hey dragonfly I was looking at some of your other posts and see that your 1976 was a bicentennial edition.
Is that the reason for the stars & stripes awning I wonder? You say its a Carefree brand, did Airstream and Zip Dee have a spat? or what?
Any chance you have pictures of the bicentennial or at least could you report what the exterior peculiarities were. Such as the emblems and maybe the striping/color appointments.
Also what are you doing stripping the unit out as you seem to be? I mean why is the interior skin going?

Dragonfly,
I'm interested in the curtains. I have a '75 Sovereign with twin beds and a rear bath. How is yours setup? Can you PM me with price information and do you have pictures of the curtains?
Thanks,
John-Boy

Just wanted to update the classic. all new insulation, 21st century wiring and power. interior skin is now textured aluminum-no vinyl cladding. Interior layout remains mostly the same, but with all new materials. Think aerospace. Trailer is now far more versitile and efficient, gained a much larger and more useful kitchen as well as more storage in general. will be posting pictures before long. If you are interested I will try to get you some pics of the awning. Can't get much more patriotic.
I am interested in purchasing a rear ceiling panel and possibly rear exterior skins for a 1978 31 ft. Sovereign. Is this anything you wish to sell? I'm new to this format so I assume I wait for reply or possibly an e-mail?
Dragonfly- please post pictures of your new interior. We have a 1971 31' sov. all stripped out inside, ready to move into the 21st century. So if you could post pics that would be really great. Thanks, silver suz
