Question Bunks??

I am looking for bunks to install in the rear bedroom of my 31 foot Sovreign...An acquaintance of mine owns a 1971 Landyacht with bunks that have an aluminum frame and fold away...as I recall they suspend from the ceiling on either side with steel cable while being attached to the walls.....any ideas from anyone...can I buy these from the factory?

Yesterday there was an ad for a bunk on e-bay for $500 (just one I believe). But the auction must have ended. I couldn't find it earlier. The bunk was extruded aluminum frame with canvas bed suspended by airplane wire from receivers mounted on the ceiling and from brackets on the wall. The frame folded in the middle and could be stored behind the center goucho. The canvas bed did have a tear at the corner which probably limited the amount of weight it could hold. There was a quote from the Airstream ad that described the bunks and recommended using a mattress in conjunction with the canvas bed.

Hessig,
My neighbor want to put bunks in the back of his Soverign too. You can make non removable ones, but due to the compound curve in the back of the trailer it is real hard to come up with something that is "temporary" and can be removed easily.
