BAL Stabilizer Jacks

Does anyone know the Model number of the BAL stabilizers that replace the BAL 20-13-TAL model I have on my '78 Excella? I have tried several avenues to get that info including the BAL website.

I have one jack that is broken because the PO apparently tried to lift the coach with it. If I am going to replace one, might as well do the set.

John

Thanks for the suggestion. I just emailed Tech Support. I had called them before and got no response.

Vic,

I've had better luck via emails than the phone!

Ken,

Your trailer looks good!

BAL Jacks

The BAL jacks for Airstream have a different lenght drive screw.
It is extended so it will reach the outside of the trailer. I think the rest of the jacks is identical to the ones from their website.
I just purchased a set from InlandRV. I am not sure if they have individual ones for replacement available. Perhaps Airstream has them??

I had same problem when I purchased my trailer in 2001 and purchased replacement thru camping world after talking with BAL and getting parts info. I'm in florida now but will be home in 10 days and will forward parts info from mine. very easy replacement when you have the right part.

Get a fitting socket, adapter and use your Makita cordless drill. You do have a Makita cordless drill, don't you?????
Then, to do the final turn or two, use a ratchet handle on the same socket.
It looks to be a 3/4in or 19mm hex
You can also buy an inexpensive 3/8 drive crank handle, and use the appropriate socket for it.

Thanks all for your assistance. I sent an E-mail to Airstream and got an answer back. The airstream part number is 400093. A call to the nearest AS Dealer in Alachua Florida got me a price of $205.

Undaunted I called BAL and asked what the replacement jack was for the 1978 Airstream TT BAL model 20-13-TAL. They came back with 22356.

I called Camping World, ordered the BAL jacks at $158 plus $20 shipping and it will be drop shipped to my house.

I did forget to order the feet though. But they are available locally.

BTW, the BAL jack handle is model 20023. I didn't get a price since I have one.

Thanks again. This forum is just loaded with nice folk.

Pictures

Here are a fw pictures of the Airstream specific BAL jacks on my trailer.
This shows the hex protruding from under the belly wrap. These work better than I imagined, which means they are almost worth the money and time i spent.
