8-Track Radio

I have an 8-Track Radio Am and Fm, that came out of a 1977 International. This Radio works great, It plays 8 track tapes with no trouble I have all the knobs for it also. I mean if any one wants this Radio I would be willing to give it to them. I replace my Radio with a CD player. I just hate to throw it away when someone out there would like to have it. I would be willing to just give it to someone for the price of shipping. So just let me know. If you want I could send Picture

BTW, you guys with the cartridges that don't work should just respool them with 1/4" tape, and get a splicer to join the ends. Not sure where you'd get the metal foil tape that switched tracks these days though.

Back in my 8-track days, I had good success with aluminum foil, and double-sticky tape.

I have an album I played on that came out on 8 Track, and no longer plays..you think I could fix it? Never thought abut that.

Just ran across this thread...
Do you happen to still have the 8 track/radio? I have a '77 Sovereign that the unit was missing when I bought it. I'd love to put it back correctly....plus....I actually have an 8 track recorder and a bunch of NOS blank tapes!
