Does anyone know where I may be able to purchase 2-30# aluminum bottles ... at a reasonable price? Used will be acceptable.

Back in 2002, I used Riack at Ferrell Gas In Dallas, TX ((972) 647-1361) , part number D300145AS3 for each $141.00. He can drop ship.

Airstream Dreams has Worthington aluminum tanks. $134 each, I think. Their website is acting up a little at the moment: www.airstreamdreams.com

There are two part numbers:
D300145WCI $128.00 (w/o external gauge)
D300145AS3 $141.00 (w/ external dial gauge, can be connected to indicator panel on inside of Airstream, if so equiped)

Make sure you compare apples to apples.
