Wiring a penguin

It seems its time to replace the AC units on the 345. I would like to switch to the penguins but am a little shy about the rewiring for the ccc unit.
Have any on the fourm switched and how did you pull the hard wire for
the CCC unit....I am going with 2 15,000 btu's because of the Texas heat and I cannot get around the hard wiring.

I think I would surface mount the wiring for the CCC unless you can route it to a nearby cabinet. It's only telephone cable so it's easy to hide behind a curtain, valance, or corner trim.

And what is the preferred method of wiring? Caffiene or sugar? Or both?
Seriously, the wiring for the controls isn't bad. You can run the wires across the roof to a cabinet, drill a hole and drop the wire down on the inside of the cabinet. Drill one more hole for the ccc thermosyat, plug it in, and screw it in place.

I like the finish of running the wires in the wall, if you check this thread on my installation you will be able to see pictures of how the walls are constructed and it may give you ideas on how to fish your wires. What locations are you trying to run wires to/from?

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f427...-in-75958.html

actually, the pictures are on my profile gallery.

Notice that the ceiling is where the original bundle of wires runs, you may be lucky enough to get a fish tape down there to the front A/C and pull your wires to where you need them.
