White dust coming from vents in new '15 International

Does anyone know what this is? I ran with my heat pump on overnight (it didn't run all that much -- less than an hour or two in total I'd guess), and ended up with this dust all over my dinette table.

Clean the filter and the coils behind the filter. The filters on these things let a lot of dirt through them and it accumulates on the coils and intake box. Remove the shroud and all will be revealed.

This trailer is one day old... wouldn't that be a bit quick to get a dirty filter?

Well.. Congrats on new AS!

Possibly the AS was run at the dealer prior to your possession? I agree there could be external dust as it is normal to "mix" outside and inside air.

Is there similar on your car exterior?

I had something similar when mine was new. I suspect manufacturing "dust". :-/

I expect they run the units while working on the trailer doing who knows what.

Construction residue. Lots of drilling, cutting and sanding going on when building our Airstreams. After my factory tour my glasses were covered with it.

We went on our ten day shake down trip for our new 2014 International. Each stop we found... this dust. Not a fine dust, but a bit on the fine sugar grain size.

Sawdust. Sawdust from the cabinetry. Also found around the sink area and cover for the gas stove top. After wiping it off the second time... we must have run out of sawdust for this trip. Found some small pieces of aluminum on the floor and a couple screws before we left...
