where is the a/c drain tube located

I have a 56 flying cloud and i want to have an a/c unit installed (Coleman Mach 8) . There was no a/c in the trailer so there was no drain tube. I need to install one but I'm not sure where to put it. I want condensation to drain out to the ground not down the sides of the trailer. The unit will be in the center vent. does the hose attach to the drain pan then out the hose ? BTW the inside skin is out so I have options.

Mine runs pretty much straight out to streeside and comes out by the LF wheel.

Mine also comes out of the front side of the street side wheel well maybe about 6-8" above the bottom and just inside the lip. The hose extends down a few inches so that the water drips freely rather than running down a surface. It is my understanding that rooftop A/C units are designed to spill the condensation onto the roof. A couple of different kits are available that divert the condensation into a cup like receptacle. The kit fits below the condenser fin assy within the confines of the opening in the roof and the hose attaches to the cup allowing the condensation to drain out the hose. Since your interior is open, routing the hose should be a simple task. It may help to know where the condensation collector will mount in case there is a rib or other structure that will determine the routing of the hose. I assume the hose exits out the front vs the rear of the wheel well so that mud won't sling from the rotating tire into the open hose potentially creating a blockage.

1st of all the A/C should be installed above the axles so you don't change the tongue weight. Not sure what year they started, but a drain tube and electrical was put inside the walls if someone wanted an A/C added. I may be wrong but I believe it was never to take place of a vent but put above the axles.
My 28' still has all 3 vents. The center one having a fan in it. My A/C is installed aft of the center vent putting it over the axles.
When I had mine gutted I saw that the drain came from the pan, went over to the side wall, down the side at an angle toward the front (to get it in front of the wheel well), then exited through the floor and belly.
