Got a 1969 Sovereign
31' that has a seperate thermostat for the AC. It was acting funky so I took off the thermostat cover and such and found 3 of the 4 wires just floating about in the casing area inside.
The thermostat (honeywell) case and cover is kinda busted anyway so I plan to replace it (vintage if possible). It has a "off-cool" switch and a "high-low" switch for the fan.
So.... I looked in my manual to figure out what wire will go where, but the manual doesn't go into that much detail. Anyone have any guesses? I'm pretty savvy electrically so I can measure this and that if it helps. One cables is red, the rest are more of less "dark" with age... The red one was the only one connected with a screw inside.
Not sure what brand AC, the trailer is pretty stock so possibly the original installed one? Any easy way to tell otherwise?
Thanks, per usual!
