Getting some black soot around the exaust area on my furnace, which indicates a "rich" air/fuel mixture.

I took front off of furnace and looked inside of the burner assembly. There is a bunch of crap in there, looks like klinkers or maybe cooked mud dauber nests. I need to clean it out, but how? I need some kind of very narrow vacuum cleaner attachement to get in there and suck that stuff out. Any ideas?

BTW, the plenum looks to be in excellent shape. The squirrel cage seems to be rubbing on something when it first starts up after setting for a few months, but is ok for the rest of the heating season.
