SIG MARINE Cozy Cabin Solid Fuel Heater

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody has ever installed one of these in their trailer? They seem to be very affordable and don't take up much room...

I know, I know the opinion varies widely on this forum in regards to fire in a trailer, but being a wood worker and having a abundant source of "heating supply" this seems to be a pretty good option for Toronto winters. haha

I like this a lot. The propane one too. Seem to be well engineered and safe.

The design of both seem to fit the Airstream. Where were you thinking of installing this?

Anyone have pictures of their install?

I like them. I have seen on in a Globe Trotter. It worked wonderfully on a cold Texas winter night.
Steve (pbearsailor) installed a similar heater in his 57. Very great thread to read.

I was thinking of putting one in my travelux. I have a dilemma in my mind because I love the appeal of having a wood burning stove especially that I am a carpenter and have more scrap wood then I know what to do with, but the propane one seems more practical. The dealer also sent me some pics of them installed in trailers and the propane one seems to take up almost no space, which makes more sense then having to have all the offsets for a wood burning stove especially that I won't be using it at all in the summer time.

gahh looks like my mind has been made up haha
