Service contract

We're considering a 3 year extended service contract with Domestic for our 2016 FC 26u. With our 2 year AS warranty and the Domestics 3 year we would get 5 years service on the ac. Living in Florida we know the need for AC most of the year. It seems like no-brainer at $196 for the 3 years Does anyone have experience using Domestic's service contract. Thanks for any info. Walt

They are a complete waste of money.
Others may soften my comment but i doubt any will take the other side.

Put that money in a cookie jar.

I wouldn't, but it depends on the coverage and where you camp.

If you camp in lots of campgrounds where the power might be "iffy" you're more likely to have a failure due to low voltage. In that case I would buy the service contract, but only if it covers damage due to low voltage conditions.

No experience with Dometic service contract. However I have called Dometic customer service regarding a thermostat issue. They were fantastic.
I would not get a service contract for the AC, I think it would be a waste of money. However it is your money!
