Question replacing catalytic with furnace

The AS currently has a Therm'x Caravan MARK IIA Catalytic unit. Since I have both small children and dogs, I'd like to replace the 'accident waiting to happen' with a furnace. But what do I look for? Suggestions, please.

the suburban furnace is pretty standard. see...

Suburban > Products > Furnaces

i have always viewed the catalytic as supplemental heat. when i am using it i always crack a window and one of the roof vents.

Cool! Is one of those Series used more often that the others? And where would we install it?

in looking at your rig i see furnace vents just to the left of your entryway door. are you sure it's not already in there?
