Replace heater duct with flex hose?
Greetings, fellow forum members!
In a continuing effort to get my new furnace installed in my Excella, I've decided to remove the restrictive standard ducting and replace it with aircraft CAT or CEET flexible duct tubing.
I plan to have one line supplying the bathroom and the two under-shower-pan 2" lines to the holding tanks. The other one will run back to the bedroom, and the third one to the front of the trailer.
I could use two 4" Y-adapters and two 4" to 2" reducing adapters to do this, but I'm not finding the parts readily available on the web. Does anyone have any leads as to a good place to look?
To explain better, it would have to be a Y-adapter connected to a Y-adapter with the most straight through path continuing to the bathroom vent (which will be a 4" vent itself). The two reducers would then go on the other two open tubes on the Ys.
Or does anybody have any idea how it can be done more neatly?
I've done some extensive Googling around and even tried Aircraft Spruce & Specialty. It's always fun when you have an IDEA about how to something but have trouble finding the parts!
Thanks!
Lamar
