Questioning a Duct

On my '76, 31' rear bath I have stripped out from the Kit./Bedroom wall back exposing the duct work that goes to the rear of the A/S. Just before the final outlet (aprox. under the tub), there are two, what the service manual calls Thermoflex ducts. They branch off the main heat duct and go under the floor. Does anyone know where they go and what they do?

Probably to the holding tanks (black water and gray water if you have one). My '73 only has a black water tank, all the way at the back of the camper under the bathroom. There was a small, about 3", round duct from the main than ran thru the floor and into the side of the pan that holds the black water tank. The idea being that the heat would help keep the tank from freezing in winter. You probably have one near the fresh water tank as well, located just forward of the axels (I think that is where your fresh water tank is).

Thank's for responding. After reading your reply I went back to the service manual and saw that there is the 3rd. duct going to the fresh water tank. It comes directly out of the furnace and immediately goes down. I haven't dismanteled the kitchen yet and couldn't see the duct. It all makes sense now. Thank you again.
